Gwen Pentecost
A recent trip to Carmel Valley enabled me to show my home town to my husband, including what used to be the Begonia Gardens, now a verdant nursery, with rhododendrons in bloom.
I had forgotten how lush everything there is, nurtured by the gentle coastal valley weather and rich soils.
