This painting should really be called "Natal River," because it is the river that flowed past my childhood home. I'm exploring both the use of acrylics and my lifelong fascination with the surface of water, and how what is underneath the water sometimes leaves its trace on the water's surface. Again, yes, a more contemporary look at life around me.
