Hawley Lake again, the sun is setting behind me, and the dark is rising up the trees, eventually to engulf not only them but the ridge behind them. The wind has died down, but the little wavelets haven't quite lost their energy yet - soon the lake surface will be like glass. This landscape painting shows how much light is still bouncing around at this time of day.
